Attendance
No attendance machine, no badge. People check in and out from their own phone. CrewClock compares the phone's location with your office pin, so the team view shows who is in the office, who is remote and who has not arrived yet.
Open CrewClock on the phone, tap Check in. The app reads the phone's location once, works out whether the person is inside the office radius, and records the time. Checking out works the same way. If someone forgets, a reminder goes out in the evening.
If you want to be sure the check-in came from the person and not a shared phone, turn on passkey confirmation. The person confirms with the phone's fingerprint or face unlock. No passwords, nothing to remember.
Also in CrewClock
The team view shows every person for the day: checked in, checked out, hours present, office or remote, and a map link for remote check-ins. The attendance report sums hours present per person per month and exports to Excel. Hours present are check-in to check-out, kept separate from timesheet hours.
Questions
No. People use their own phones. The office location is a pin and a radius you set once in Settings.
CrewClock allows for the reported GPS accuracy. A phone that is clearly inside the office but reports a slightly loose position is still marked as office.
No. Attendance records presence: when someone arrived and left. The timesheet records billable work per client. They are shown separately, and only timesheet hours reach invoices.
It is a switch per company. Ask us to turn it on for your workspace, or try it in the demo.
